Review and Comparison: Innisfree Jeju Pore Clay Mask and Super Volcanic Clay Mask

Whose the fans of Innisfree clay mask here? well, I'm one of them. Honestly, I'm a big fans of Innisfree skincare products. I've tried and review some of innisfree products here on my blog like the famous green tea seed serum and the green tea sleeping pack. But...... today I will talk about their clay mask. I've been using both of Innisfree clay mask; Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask and Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask almost one year. That's why I decided to talk about both of them in depth review.

How to use:
After washing your face and applying toner, gently smoothen
the product over your entire face. Avoid using the product on your eye and lip
areas. Rinse off the mask with lukewarm water after 15 minutes. (Use 1-2 times
per week)
Packaging
Both of the clay mask come in plastic jar that looks like an ancient jar. The box that come with the products are made by recycled paper. On the box the description about the product is written in both language; Korean and English. Fyi, my Innisfree Super volcanic clay mask box packaging is the old version, the newest version of it have dark brown color in all over the box.
Jeju volcanic pore clay mask jar has silver lid and brown colored jar, meanwhile Super volcanic clay mask has brown kinda golden lid and the dark brown colored jar. Both of them have another transparent plastic lid inside. I suggest you not to trow it and keep it inside because the plastic lid help the mask not easily become dry/ become harden due to the air. Unfortunately these clay mask didn't come with spatula to scoop the product out. So you need to dip it with finger or use your own spatula to scoop out the clay.

- JEJU VOLCANIC PORE CLAY MASK:
This is the first clay
mask that I have ever tried. I bought it because
my skin was very dry but having a large
pores. This mask would take around 15 - 20 minutes to be a able to dry and give a little bit of harden feeling on the face but it wouldn’t completely dry and crack. What I feel after using this mask, my skin would feel clean, softer and fresher but it didn't significantly make my pores smaller in once. However after several months of using this mask twice a week. I could tell that this mask could prevent future break out and balancing my oil/sebum production without drying out my skin. What I like from this product, this is a perfect clay mask for people who have dry skin but still want to deep cleaning the skin, taking care of the pores and control the production of sebum.

- SUPER VOLCANIC CLAY MASK:
For the first time of trying it, I wouldn't really like it because when I applied it on my face it gives cooling sensation and the cooling sensation wouldn't go away after I rinsed the mask off. but I get used to it now and it doesn't matter anymore. This mask will take around 15 - 20 minutes to be a able to dry and give harden feeling on the face. It would completely dry and crack, It makes my face become harden and hard to speak because it's so tight. What I feel after I use this mask, my skin would feel cleaner, softer, tighten, and fresher. I also feel that this mask could prevent future breakout and you also can dot the clay on the pimple and leave it for a night. In my experience, it does work to make the big pimple bumps become smaller.
After several months of using this mask once or twice a week. I could say that this mask is really helping in deep cleaning the pores. I tend to have white heads on the nose area, I have big pores in cheeks area and I often get several break out when It almost period time. Using this mask consistently is really helping with my skin condition especially to treat those big pores, white heads and my acne seasonal acne skin.

Overall
I love Innisfree clay masks. The price is affordable with a lots amount of product in a jar, and I found their clay mask is effective to my skin. I would like to recommend Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask for people who tend to have normal and dry skin but still want to taking care of their pores. I would like to recommend Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask for people who tend to have oily and acne prone skin because this mask is effective to clean out the dirt inside the pores and prevent the future break out. What I don't like about both of the products is only, the clay masks texture would be harden and hard to apply after several months after I opened it. That's it....
