Review: The Body Shop Refreshingly Purifying Fuji Green Tea Cleansing Hair Scrub and Conditioner

My hair is always in normal condition, it doesn't oily nor dry before but until last year I decided to dye my hair. I even change the color often or re-dye it to make the color stay longer. That matter turns my hair into oily on the scalp area and super dry in the tip part of my hair. It's somehow annoying, as I shouldn't wash my hair very often to keep the hair color vibrant, but I can't stand greasy feeling on the oily scalp. I end up washing my hair once a day or once in two days if I don't do anything that makes me sweating and turn my hair into oily.
You know, when you have oily scalp. Sometimes washing only with shampoo and conditioner, it doesn't really feel clean like something is missing. I felt that way, but I don't know what kind of product that can clean my scalp or hair thoroughly. Until one day PR from The Body Shop asked me weather I want to try their new product which is Refreshingly Purifying Fuji Green Tea Hair Care Lines. and.... I was gladly say yes.
The Body Shop Indonesia gave me two products to try at home which is Refreshingly Purifying Fuji Green Tea Cleansing Hair Scrub and the conditioner. and I have been using both of the product for a month, once a week as weekly hair and scalp treatment.

How to use:

Review:
Honestly, I was surprise to see and feel the texture of this product. It has the texture of salt or scrub, and it's quite harsh on the skin, however when I put a scoop of the product into my head. It doesn't hurt my scalp at all. When I rub the product onto my scalp, I can feel the scrubby texture was against my scalp. It's kinda strange feeling. It feels like I put sands on my head, but when I keep massaging the product. The cooling sensation is showing up and it feels so refreshing. The product also has such a pleasant smell of green tea but I didn't really think it's a green tea smell. It has a lil bit of masculine smell but so far it smells really good.
The unique thing about this product, even though it has scrubby-like-texture. When we we mix the hair cleansing scrub with the water. The scrub will dissolve into bubbles. Not only we can use this product as hair scrub but it also have function as a shampoo. So, no need to use shampoo after using the hair scrub. However, after rinsing the product from the head. The result of using only the hair scrub, it will make the hair and scalp feels like squeaky clean and it doesn't offer silky-smooth-like-hair which is, I personally feel it's not really comfortable. That's why after we use this product, the use of conditioner as finishing product is very recommended to make the hair texture silky and smooth again.

Review:
For this conditioner, I would say it doesn't really have something special on it except it does work to smoothen my hair and make it silky-like. The texture of the conditioner is also the same like the other conditioner out there but as this product also part of Fuji Green Tea Line. It has cooling sensation on it and it smells exactly the same like the hair scrub.
I like the simple packaging of it but with this type of plastic bottle. It makes so hard to dissolve the conditioner out from the container.
Overall
It think both of the hair scrub and the conditioner, they are complimentary each other as if I only use the hair scrub. It does give clean and refreshing feeling to the scalp but it has squeaky feeling that I could feel my hair is so dry and the use of conditioner is really helping to get the hair smooth and easy to comb. After a month using both of the product as weekly hair treatment, I could feel that my scalp is cleaner and healthier. Not forget to mention. I really love the smells of this Fuji Green Tea Line, and the smell can last for a day in my hair <3
